WHAT TO EXPECTOptimization for Google Chrome, and 1366x768 or higher screen resolution. This just means that my coding and whatnot is done with this res and default browser.
Other than that, simple but elegant. I don't yet have the experience to offer anything too complicated, but my style is perfect for character websites. If you have something else in mind though, we can discuss it! |
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. When filling out a form to send to me, you may provide as much or as little information as you'd like, but detail is power. The less you tell me, the more freedom you're giving me in designing the website. So if you've got a specific vision of what colors/theme/etc your site should have, the more you tell me, the better.
2. Except for in some special cases, I cannot accept payment upfront. As unbelievable as it may seem, I don't want your money until you have at least seen a work-in-progress of your webpage, or received your finished product. That being said, please respect your end of the transaction and have payment on hand for when it is appropriate to send it.
3. Understand that I won't always get a project done in a snap. Speed varies largely dependent on what is going on at the moment. I may be busy with important things in my life, or otherwise pre-occupied. Checking in on the status of your commission is perfectly fine, but incessant badgering is not, and won't help get my work done faster. Please bear this in mind and, when in doubt, think to yourself "When's the last time I asked?"
4. When all is said and done, you will receive the link to a pastebin, or multiple ones, depending on how many pages you have commissioned from me. If you like, I can apply the coding to whatever website you'll be hosting it on (webs, tumblr, etc). However, I will not be held responsible for hosting or filling in any info myself. I am simply the provider of the "skeleton" that you'll flesh out and breathe life into.
5. I am more than alright with people using my work as a sort of reference, so long as they give credit where credit is due. This doesn't mean you have to credit me for something you have only used as a visual guide. It just means that if somebody asks you how it's done, I'd appreciate a mention.
6. That being said, to protect the integrity of my work, you may not use it as a base, where you copy and paste it and manipulate it as you please. This includes customers of mine. Not only does doing this take revenue away from me, it's also just plain rude. Stay classy.
7. Do not remove credit. I typically put my name on the layout itself, along with an additional copyright symbol in cases where I must give credit to somebody else for the background. These are not there as an optional accessory. They are absolutely mandatory, and if I find out you've removed them, you will no longer be allowed to do business with me.
**NOTE REGARDING PAYMENT: DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT SEND IT AS A GIFT. YOU MUST SEND IT AS GOODS AND SERVICES, AND TICK NO ADDRESS NEEDED. IT IS POSSIBLE TO MAKE TROUBLE FOR ME WITH PAYPAL BY FAILING TO DO THIS, BECAUSE IT'LL BE SEEN AS ME DODGING THE SELLER FEES. THAT'S SIMPLY NOT THE CASE AND I'D RATHER NOT GET IN DEEP SHIT OVER SOMEONE ELSE'S FAILURE TO SEND MONEY IN THE APPROPRIATE WAY. THANKS.**

PRICING
- The base price of a site is $10 USD, Paypal only.
- This gives you the code to a one-page wonder like so, but worry not, it can vary in complexity and more advanced wizarding isn't too bad at 50 cents a page!
- I can add music of your choice for free - the catch is that you, yourself must be hosting the mp3 file somewhere.
- Edits needed prior to wrapping up your commission are also completely free of charge. At this point, it is more than appropriate to give me feedback on the layout, whether it be positive or you wanting something changed.
- It's not an option to try and have me edit months after the fact, especially if it is something major you want changed or you've simply gotten tired of what I made. In that case, fill out a new form because it will have to be considered - and charged as - a fresh commission.
